Jesus presents this challenge of the fullness of life in His greatest commandment: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:37-39).  This is reflected in our chapel theme for this year– ”With Everything…With Everyone”.

A natural outcome of joining faith and learning is the desire to serve others and to make a difference wherever you are. That's why our mission statement indicates that PLNU is a university where "minds are engaged and challenged, character is modeled and formed, and service becomes an expression of faith."

As a vital Christian learning community, we continually aim towards this purpose—a community that worships, studies, plays, questions, challenges, and encourages one another.
