The Department of Physician Assistant Education offers students a unique training model in its clinical approach to preparing students for the practice of medicine as a physician assistant. Career Opportunities

Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a Master of Science in Medicine - Physician Assistant (MSM-PA) degree and, after passage of the national certifying examination, are eligible for licensure as a physician assistant across the United States. Physician assistants can be found providing medical care in every state and around the globe in every medical and surgical discipline.
