A certificate in AI Literacy equips students with practical skills to responsibly and effectively use generative AI to enhance productivity and workplace performance.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students who complete the Generative AI Certificate will be able to:

1. Use AI responsibly with ethical consideration for social impacts including bias, discrimination, and the environment, and consideration for safety impacts including security, privacy, accuracy, and transparency.
2. Establish and justify the use of appropriate AI platforms and level of AI autonomy for specific task requirements balancing organizational goals and the need for human oversight.
3. Utilize AI platforms for data modeling and analytics to extract actionable insights from research or industry datasets.
4. Design, develop, and present a functional AI artifact (such as a prototype model or a dedicated application) that meets a specified use or business need.
